NICHOLAS ROCCO FANUELE, FOUNDER
It all began one night with a realization that Nick could in fact be eligible to claim Italian citizenship through his ancestors. A few years prior, Nick attempted to seek citizenship through his Italian-born paternal grandparents. But after the Italian Consulate confirmed he was not eligible through his father's side, he lost hope. Little did he know, he was eligible through his great-great grandfather on his mother's side, which took a year of intense research and document hunting to prove. He even travelled to Philadelphia court to petition Pennsylvania to issue a delayed birth certificate for his great-grandfather. At times, he felt he hit a dead end in his research, but he kept pressing on. In the end, he was awarded with his dream of Italian citizenship recognition.
After going through such a grueling process himself, it is Nick's and Italian Citizenship Immersion's mission to help others reach their dream of becoming Italian and reconnect with their Italian roots. Using his background in auditing and policy analysis, Nick has acquired vast knowledge of the Italian citizenship jure sanguinis process and the research it takes to be recognized as an Italian. He realizes that many people do not have the time or ability to conduct their own research, so he hopes the services Italian Citizenship Immersion offers can guide clients through their Italian citizenship journey.
